A Tale of Two Bouquets: A Beautifully Intimate Wedding

Every wedding is unique, but there was something truly special about this intimate celebration I worked on in February 2024, for Kate and Fliss. With two brides, each with her own distinct style, I had the joy of designing not just one, but two bouquets—each representing the individuality and beauty of both women on their big day.

Bouquets as Personal Expressions

From the start, both brides were clear about their desire for their bouquets to reflect who they are—both separately and together.

One of the brides had a big love for florals. Her bouquet included a mixture of Spring fresh flowers with hints of bright yellow Roses, inspired by Kate's Grandad's garden from when she was a child.

In contrast, the second bride had a more green inspired design, with Succulents acting as the focal flower and a mixture of lush green foliage, including fragrant Eucalyptus and soft fluffy ferns.

Each bouquet not only complemented the brides’ dresses but also told a story about who they are.
